The professional apprenticeship movement
In 2016, we launched a professional apprenticeship program at Accenture to help bridge the skills gap.
Apprenticeship required us to rethink our talent strategy—it has to be embedded in what you do, the way you recruit, the way you train—embedded in your business.
Julie Sweet Chief Executive Officer, Accenture
A year later, we co-founded the Chicago Apprentice Network with Aon and Zurich North America to help other companies start their own programs. Scaling apprenticeships multiplies the impact– today, 10 Apprentice Networks unite over 200 companies committed to advancing careers.

Why you
You love being on a team. You like to learn and want hands-on experience. You have general training or exposure in one of the following areas: programming code, data analysis or graphic design.
What you’ll get
You’ll be on a supportive team with coaching, mentorship and on-the-job training. You’ll receive competitive compensation, including benefits coverage options for you and your dependents. Our apprenticeships also may lead to full-time employment.
Who’s eligible
You must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent—we’re actively seeking applicants without a four-year degree. And you must be eligible to work in the US or Canada without sponsorship.
