IOH and Lintasarta launch Indonesia’s first cloud sovereign AI platform
Positioning Indonesia as a global leader in AI innovation and data governance
Indonesia is accelerating toward its 2045 vision of becoming a digitally empowered nation—with AI as a key enabler. Central to this ambition is the need to protect its digital future by ensuring that the sensitive data that powers its economy and institutions remains within national borders.
This sparked a groundbreaking collaboration between Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (Indosat or IOH), Lintasarta and Accenture to launch Indonesia’s first sovereign AI cloud platform. Purpose-built to deliver secure, localized AI-driven cloud services, the platform empowers industries—starting with financial services and mining—to progressively integrate AI while adhering to regulations and prioritizing data sovereignty. More than infrastructure, it’s a bold step toward national digital sovereignty, homegrown innovation, and a resilient, inclusive economy.
A foundation for agentic AI
Together, Indosat, Lintasarta, and Accenture are building a comprehensive, full-stack sovereign AI solution. Powered by Accenture’s AI Refinery™, the platform lays a foundation for agentic AI. With modular industry agents, AI Refinery accelerates adoption by rapidly delivering generative AI powered intelligent tools for tasks like customer onboarding, fraud detection, and risk assessment.
The new platform is already making an impact:
In addition to enhancing tech capabilities, the initiative will focus on upskilling Indonesians to use and scale generative AI responsibly. By partnering with training providers and regulators, and leveraging platforms such as Accenture’s LearnVantage, the “I Do, We Do, They Do” concept is being adopted to foster scalable, hands-on learning. As these programs roll out nationwide, they aim to build a digitally confident workforce ready for Indonesia’s AI-powered future.

A composable architecture enables scalable, adaptable, and consistent deployments across diverse markets. Already live in eight markets and expanding, the platform is projected to drive 500,000 daily orders by late 2026.
With over 40% of onboarded retailers being family- or women-led, the groundbreaking platform also serves as a blueprint for equitable commerce and a catalyst for inclusive economic growth.

The Philippines leads the world in online financial service usage, with over 91% of the population using banking, investment or insurance apps monthly. Recognizing that nearly every transaction now happens online, a local bank saw an opportunity to deliver a truly exceptional digital banking experience.
To bring its vision to life, the financial institution partnered with Accenture to launch a cloud-native, API-first platform on Amazon Web Services in just 12 months. Designed around user feedback, the platform enhances every digital touchpoint and gives the bank the agility to meet evolving customer expectations with speed, accessibility and security.
In the retail and consumer banking space, the results were immediate: the new app soared to #1 in the App Store, attracting over 1 million users and driving 2.3 million more online transactions in just seven months. It also earned three major honors from a prestigious banking awards program for its data-driven strategy, innovation and 89% customer satisfaction with 99.8% uptime.
Inclusion at every touchpoint
Key features include the ability to auto-sync all bank accounts with a single registration, a real-time unified view of financial accounts, and offline authentication- critical in a country where 65% of areas lack reliable connectivity. Additional tools like cardless withdrawals and integrated live chat support make banking more intuitive and inclusive.
A robust Customer Identity Access Management system uses ForgeRock and multifactor authentication to ensure enterprise-grade security. Databricks integration powers AI-driven personalization—enabling the bank to recommend and tailor products and services based on real-time behavior and preferences.
But this transformation isn’t just about new features—it’s about setting a new standard. Together, we’ve built a scalable, secure, human-centered blueprint for better banking.

To address this change, a global consumer multinational is partnering with Accenture to create an innovation studio dedicated to incubating and scaling personalized, resonant brand experiences using generative AI and immersive technologies.
Redefining reach with real-time tech
Inside the innovation studio, the company is exploring AI-powered 3D content creation and spatial computing, using tools like NVIDIA Edify 360 and Apple Vision Pro to build real-time product experiences and AR digital worlds that let customers explore and personalize from anywhere. It’s a bold move toward experiential luxury for a digitally sophisticated audience.
The innovation studio is also unlocking speed and efficiency in personalized marketing. Generative AI tools enable rapid content creation at scale. Real-time rendering has increased production speed by 66%, while CGI twins are replacing traditional photo shoots, delivering 8:1 productivity gains.
