LEADERSHIP
Shaheen Sayed is the Global Chief Commercial Officer of Reinvention Services at Accenture. In this new role, which she took on in October 2025, Shaheen is a member of the Global Management Committee and is responsible for streamlining how Accenture delivers AI-enabled solutions that meet the evolving needs of clients for the AI era. She plays a critical role in integrating capabilities to drive sustainable growth and long-term client value.
Prior to this, Shaheen was CEO of Accenture’s UK, Ireland, and Africa (UKIA) business. In this pivotal role, Shaheen was responsible for steering the growth, strategy, and overall performance of Accenture across three dynamic and diverse markets. Her role spanned the full breadth of the business—from strategy and consulting to technology, operations, and Accenture Song— ensuring the firm delivered exceptional, high-impact solutions to its clients. Under her stewardship, Accenture continued to be a major employer in the region and a force for innovation. She was instrumental in advancing the company's R&D and investment strategy, spearheading the development of breakthrough capabilities such as Accenture’s AI Experience Studios in London and Dublin, and the flagship global innovation hub, The Dock, located in Ireland.
Before taking the helm of UKIA, Shaheen led Accenture’s Technology business in the UK and Ireland, where she specialized in orchestrating complex, enterprise-wide technology transformations and pioneering new market innovations. Over her two-decade career with Accenture, she has been at the forefront of delivering cutting-edge solutions across multiple industries, including banking, capital markets, telecommunications, and healthcare. Shaheen also previously served as Head of Health & Public Service for Accenture UK and Ireland, where she led critical programs across health, taxation, welfare, justice, defence, and policing. During the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, she worked closely with the UK Government, playing a key role in shaping rapid, effective responses in an unprecedented time.
Recognised as a thought leader in inclusive leadership and digital talent transformation, Shaheen is a Visiting Lecturer for the London School of Economics Global Masters Programme and a member of the Steering Committee of Movement to Work, which supports youth employment and social mobility. She also serves with distinction as an Honorary Colonel of 3 Military Intelligence Battalion in the British Army and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (RSA).
