Ryan Oakes is Accenture’s global Health and Public Services industry practices chair. He is also a member of Accenture’s Global Management Committee.
In his more than 27 years at Accenture, Ryan has supported government and education clients in meeting their vital missions to educate, protect, nurture, and serve. His previous roles include leading the Global Public Sector, Global Human Services, and the North America Education practices.
Over his career he has worked with national, state, county and city governments, and universities around the world, helping them reimagine and redesign solutions for the digital age; design and implement complex, largescale and mission-critical solutions; and drive change across technology and service delivery.
Ryan also serves as a board member for the Business and Higher Education Forum, a non-profit focused on skilling diverse workforces in partnership between the business and education community. Ryan has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government from Connecticut College.
