LEADERSHIP
Nicole van Det is a member of Accenture’s Global Management Committee and serves as Market Unit Lead for the Netherlands and Nordics (NLN). She leads strategy, growth, and operations across six countries, working with clients and partners to accelerate transformation and reinvention across industries.
She also serves as Global Client Account Lead for one of the world’s largest consumer goods companies, helping the client use data, technology, and AI to drive reinvention, strengthen competitiveness, and achieve sustainable growth.
Before taking on her regional role, Nicole chaired Accenture’s Global Strategic Clients Portfolio - representing more than 300 clients that generate the majority of Accenture’s global revenues - where she deepened partnerships and advanced cross-market collaboration to deliver measurable business impact.
Previously, she was Country Managing Director for the Netherlands, leading all sectors and services. Under her leadership, the business achieved strong growth and was recognized as a Great Place to Work®, reflecting her focus on people, culture, and shared success.
With more than 26 years at Accenture, Nicole has led major digital and business transformations, helping organizations rethink how they operate and grow. She began her career as Products Lead for the Netherlands, contributing to the expansion of the consumer goods sector.
Growing up in Surinam exposed her to rich cultural diversity, shaping her approach to inclusive leadership. She is passionate about promoting diversity and cross-cultural understanding - in business and beyond.
She holds an MSc in Pharmacy, a PhD in Medicine, and an MBA. She has authored articles and regularly speak on topics related to diversity, business and science.
